What advertising is available?
The Paperboy offers advertising on a pay-per-click basis or a cost-per-thousand basis: and you choose the price you want to pay. We accept text ads, graphical ad-banners, and rich media ads, and you can advertise for as long or as short as you want.
How to advertise with us
You can get your message onto the Paperboy in minutes, through Google AdWords.
Here's how to do it:
- Set up a Google AdWords account if you don't have one.
- Choose a new placement-targeted campaign.
- Create your ads. You can use text, a graphic, or rich media; we accept them all. Paperboy uses three sizes - a banner ad (468x60), tower (160x600) and a medium rectangle 300x250).
- When you get to 'Target Your Ad', click the "list URLs" radio button. In the big box that appears, type 'thepaperboy.com' and hit 'Get available placements'.
- A list will appear with all the individual available places to advertise on the Paperboy. Using this, you can fine-tune where your ad appears if you want; by default, your ads will appear throughout the site.
- Finally, set your pricing, review and save, and you're good to go: your ads will start appearing almost immediately.
