CCTV footage has been released of an Iranian journalist being stabbed on a London street by two men said to be acting on behalf of Tehran. Pouria Zeraati, who works for anti-regime Iran International, was left bleeding in the street after he was attacked by proxies of Tehran outside his home in Wimbledon on March 29 2024, a court heard. Nandito Badea, 21, and George Stana, 25, were both convicted by a jury at Woolwich Crown Court of wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm. Both had denied the charges.
“The relentless, daily assaults by Israeli settlers against Palestinians are intolerable - and must end,” said the UN commission's head, S. Muralidhar. He urged the international community to pressure Israel to dismantle settlements and outposts and curb the violence. Read more:
