Who is the Paperboy?
Hi, my name is Ian and I'm the head honcho at the Paperboy. It started out in November 1997 as a hobby to satisfy my own craving for easy access to quality news and has grown from there (8.7 million visits in 2009). I hope you find it to be a useful resource. Over the years I've had some very positive reviews from various media outlets, including Britain's Sunday Times, CNBC, CNN and the New York Times!
After graduating law school in Perth, I earnt my living as a travel writer working mainly for Lonely Planet where I wrote three cycle touring titles: Indochina, New Zealand and Great Britain. Since 2002 I've been working in some interesting legal and government roles and still manage to indulge my passion for travel quite often, both for work and play. You can take a look at photos from my recent journeys at my Flickr Site.
My brother Andrew also helps keep the Paperboy running. Andrew lives in Western Australia and is full time Professional Firefighter. Andrew has also been lucky enough to travel the world.
Please don't hesitate to email me with feedback about the site or any other questions or comments you may have. If you work for a media outlet and would like to write a story on this site or myself I would be happy to furnish you with any information you may require. If you represent an organisation looking to build or enhance your online presence I am always keen to discuss strategic partnerships and other business opportunities.
Thanks for showing an interest, and don't forget to bookmark the front page.
